I had been having issues with TMJ intermittently for a few months, and it had gotten to the point where I was in pain pretty much all day. Before going to an expensive specialist, I decided to try Hive TMJ. I was able to quickly get an appt. with Nick, who was very knowledgeable. I had noticeable improvements after one appointment, and after my 2nd appointment, my TMJ pain was gone. Nick was extremely professional and friendly, and if my TMJ pain returns I will definitely be back to see him.

Updated review after being a client for a couple of years: Still five stars! I cannot say enough good things about this place and Maddy. I used to see massage therapists only once in a while, because they were just okay. After my first visit with Maddy, however, I became a regular. She somehow intuitively knows where my problem areas are (she says because the same spots are problems for her), and she checks in regularly to make sure the pressure is good. I like intense "hurts so good" massages, and she delivers, but I know she can do lighter ones, because my friends also go to her and prefer those. She always accounts for my current physical state and adjusts the massage accordingly. And she actually works on my glutes and pecs! Nearly all of the therapists I've had in the past at other places would not go near either muscle group, even though my glutes are one of my biggest problems. After seeing her for body massages for a while, I started adding her TMJ massage services and it has also been a wonderful experience. Her treatments have helped with my TMJ pain a great deal, and having her identify the specific muscles that were overactive (because she was touching them,

Recently, I found the Hive TMJ online. From my first interactions, Mary has been very helpful in explaining the process and has listened and adopted her care to address any concerns or issues. After each session, she carefully communicates issues or makes recommendations for after care. She has developed a rhythm to making the session relaxing but also invigorating. Lessening my old injuries and understanding how to maximize treatment is her top priority. You could not go wrong with Mary and the team out at the Hive. I strongly recommend her.
